SDKY GURUKULA VIDYALAYA celebrated Children’s Day on November 14, 2024 commemorating the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Respected Principal Binil Kumar Sir addressed the gathering on the importance of rights and duties of children. The children  paid tribute to the beloved “Chachaji” and presented a rocking dance  performance. One of the students dressed as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru inspired the children with motivational speech.

SDKY Gurukula Vidyalaya organised an exhibition to showcase the talents of students in Science, Social Science, Mathematics, Commerce, Art and languages like English, Malayalam, Hindi and Sanskrit. The students displayed various models/projects on environmental conservation, mathematical theories, cultural exhibits, paintings, human anatomy and installations of poetry and literature.

SDKY Gurukula Vidyalaya celebrated Kerala Piravi, the birthday of God’s own country on November 1,
2024. SDKY President Mr. T. V. Ramachandran along with Principal Binil Kumar Sir inaugurated the occassion by lighting the auspicious lamp. A coalesce of ‘Nadanpattu’, ‘Vanchipattu’, ‘Kalaripayittu’, ‘Thiruvathira’ , designed the day truly as Kerala Piravi day.

SDKY GURUKULA VIDYALAYA celebrated the ‘National Post day’ on October 10, 2024. The students wrote letters to their beloved mothers and posted them in the nearby post box. The students were taken to  Eroor (South) Post Office wherein they got insight about the different types of letters, saving schemes and other essential services. The Postmaster brought awareness among the students  about  how the Postal system works. The students were able to acknowledge the vital role of postal service in shaping global communication.

The Kintergarden students of SDKY GURUKULA VIDYALAYA celebrated the ‘Car wash day’ on October 9, 2024 with great enthusiasm and fun. They enjoyed washing the school bus along with the music played. The activity promoted the values of teamwork, community service and dignity of labour.

SDKY GURUKULA VIDYALAYA celebrated Gandhi Jayanthi with great enthusiasm  to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation as well as remember his courageous deeds on the way of independence struggle for the country from British rule. One of the students dressed up as Mahatma Gandhi and inspired the students with motivational speech. The students rendered an amazing skit showcasing the ‘Dandi march’ movement.

SDKY Gurukula Vidyalaya hailed Onam with all the traditional pomp on September 13, 2023. Students  were in colourful traditional attires and joy was reverberating in the entire school. Children sang Onam song and there were mesmerizing dance performances.

The Cultural Fest Sargasangamam 2024-25 was held on August 23 and August 24,2024. The colourful fest was a platform for our children to showcase their mettle in various literary and cultural competitions. Students performed the optimum of their talents to score top notches.

Investiture ceremony is a solemn occasion where the school entrusts its upcoming leaders with the roles and responsibilities. The School Investiture ceremony was conducted on July 3, 2024. The school election was conducted prior to the ceremony where the students were given a novel experience of casting their votes. The elected students were honored with their respective badges.
